Revelation 11:1-3
Behold, The Temple!

We continue to study the 2nd Woe (Sixth Trumpet) \\#9:13\\ through
\\#11:14\\.
Part 1-\\#Rev 9:13-21\\ Four demons from Euphrates and their
      army of death.
Part 2-\\#Rev 10:4\\ Seven secret thunders,
\\#Rev 10:6\\ The promise of God that time was running
out and that the mysteries of God were to soon be
              fulfilled.
Part 3-\\#Rev 11:1-3\\ Three things are measured:
     a. \\#1\\ The temple
     b. \\#2\\ The time of the Gentiles
     c. \\#3\\ The ministry of the two witnesses

The ministry of the two witnesses is too long to be included into
today’s measure so we will look mostly at verses 1-2 this morning.

I. \\#1-2\\ The Jewish temple is to be measured. The Jewish temple
plays a very important role in the timeline of tribulation and,
    I believe, to us.
    A. First let me say that I think we are still in the first 3 1/2
years of the tribulation but just barely.
        1. The tribulation will last for 7 years. \\#Dan 9:27\\.
        2. In the middle (midst) of thos years, the anti-Christ will
break the treaty. That is 3 1/2 years into the treaty.
        3. So the tribulation is divided into two 3 1/2 year periods.
        4. Both of them are bad but the last 3 1/2 years are even
            worse than the first.
        5. I am saying that I think Revelation 11 is in the first
3 1/2 years but just barely. Why?
            a. Notice the time of the other two measurements.
                (1) \\#2\\ The time of the Gentiles is 42 months.
                     That is 3 1/2 years.
                (2) \\#3\\ The time of ministry for the two witnesses
                     is 1,260 days.
                     (a) Jewish months have 30 days—all of them.
                     (b) These days can also be divided into 42
                          months.
                (3) 42 months is 3 1/2 years.
            b. We know that there will be more which happens after
the ministry of the two witnesses.
                (1) It may not take much time to wrap things up but
                     it will take some time.
                (2) Hence, I believe we are still in the first 3 1/2
                     years.
                (3) Perhaps only by hours or days, but in the first
                     half none-the-less.
    B. What does the measurement of the temple mean?
        1. It means there will be a temple.
            a. There has not been a Jewish temple in over 1900 years!
            b. History lesson:
                (1) Throughout the Old Testament, the Jews rebelled
                     against God.
                (2) So God sent His Son, Jesus.
                (3) The Jews killed Jesus.
                (4) That was around 30 AD.
                (5) Jesus told them what would happen to the temple.

Matt 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you
prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some
of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of
them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and
persecute them from city to city:
35 That upon you may come all the righteous
blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of
righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son
of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple
and the altar.
36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall
come upon this generation.

Matt 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from
the temple: and his disciples came to him for to
shew him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these
things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be
left here one stone upon another, that shall not
be thrown down.

                      i. All of this was fulfilled in 70 AD, around
40 years after Jesus was crucified.
ii. The Jews rebelled from Rome, 66-70 AD.
iii. General Titus completely destroyed Jerusalem
and the temple, not even leaving one stone
upon another. (Stone are still there to
                          this day.)
iv. Then to top it off, in 135 AD, Rome expelled
                          Israel out of their land.
                (6) And Jesus told them that they would be set aside
                     \\#Matt 21:40-41\\.
                      i. The Jews were replaced with the church.
ii. The Jews have not been forsaken all
                          together:
aa. Anyone can be part of the church, even
                               a Jews.
bb. And God will soon remove the church
and take Israel off the shelf.
iii. That is what the rapture does.
iv. When God turns back to the church again,
things are going to be very much like they
                          were when God shelved them.
aa. There will be a world power - Revived
                               Roman Empire.
bb. Israel will be in her land.
cc. The Jews will still be rebelling
                               against God.
dd. Gentiles will have dominance over
                               Israel.
ee. The Jews are going to have a temple.
            c. You are living in exciting times! Times of Bible
                fulfillment.
                (1) There was NO Israel from 135 to 1948!
                (2) Gentiles nations, including America, are starting
to exert forceful dominance over Israel.
                (3) And the next temple is ready to be built.
            d. The temple was destroyed in 70 AD, but a few years
ago, the Jews began to prepare for its rebuilding.
                (1) Jewish Temple Institute seems to be the Jewish
                     entity mostly responsible.
                (2) The priests have already been found and trained.

jerusalem-priest-offering-rituals-al-aqsa.html#

                (3) Their garments have already been made.
                (4) You can go the Jewish Temple Institute’s website
and see the pictures of the golden temple
vessels that they have already made.

http://www.templeinstitute.org/vessels_gallery_1.htm

                (5) Yesterday, I saw a picture of the brazen alter
being loaded by crane onto a truck!

                (6) And of the temple altar!

holy-temple-jewish-world/#yphXx5pulh4ZSvyu.97

                (7) The Jews have even started raising a herd of red
                     heifers.

http://www.breakingisraelnews.com/45326/cattleman-raising-historic-

                (8) All they are waiting for is the land on which to
build it—and I believe, they will get that
about the time the treaty of Daniel 9:27 is
                     forced upon them.
        2. I also think that the John is told to measure the temple
means that is up and fully functional at this time.
            a. I believe the temple will be up and running very
quickly in part because of all the preparation the
                Jews are doing right now.
            b. But also because the anti-Christ will use the temple
to declare himself to be God.

2Thess 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means:
for that day shall not come, except there come
a falling away first, and that man of sin be
revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all
that is called God, or that is worshipped; so
that he as God sitteth in the temple of God,
shewing himself that he is God.

II. \\#2\\ A Measurement of the Gentile’s control of Jerusalem,
    A. Notice that part of the Temple is not to be measured with
        John’s measuring stick.
        1. The temple of God, the altar, and those worshipping there
            are to be measured.
        2. This would be the Holy Place (and probably the Holy of
Holies, the Jewish Court, and the Jews worshipping there.
        3. But the Outer Court, the court, "without the temple,"
            was not be measured.
        4. The outer court was the outer most court which surrounded
the Holy Place and the temple.
    B. \\#2\\ The reason for not measuring the Outer Court is
because "it is given unto the Gentiles."
        1. Gentiles have always been allowed to worship in that court
but now they are not just worshipping there, they are
            controlling it.

Luke 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of
the sword, and shall be led away captive into
all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down
of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles
be fulfilled.

        2. While a linear measurement is forbidden, a time
            measurement is not.
            a. The Court is given to the Gentiles for "forty and two
                months."
            b. That is 3 1/2 years, and I believe the last 3 1/2
                years.
        3. Although Gentiles have controlled Israel much of the
last 2,000 years, they have never controlled a temple.
            a. They have destroyed a few, but not controlled them.
            b. This is the time when Gentile control in Israel will
                peak.
            c. It is called the Times of the Gentiles and during
these last 3 1/2 years, Gentiles will even control
                the temple.
            d. This will be a time of great atrocities toward Israel.

Luke 21:21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee
to the mountains; and let them which are in the
midst of it depart out; and let not them that are
in the countries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all
things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to
them that give suck, in those days! for there
shall be great distress in the land, and wrath
upon this people.
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword,
and shall be led away captive into all nations:
and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the
Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be
fulfilled.

    C. Let’s understand the Gentiles growing control in Israel.
        1. The Gentiles have controlled Jerusalem (Israel) since the
            Babylonian captivity
        2. Then came the Persians, Greeks, Romans, and years when
there was no Israel at all!
        3. Since 1948, Israel has been a small but independent
nation; however, the nations of the world—especially
American—have begun an attempt to force Israel to give
up land for peace. (Israel has given up land numerous
times and it has never produced peace.)
        4. So far, the time that Gentiles controlled Israel has been
            around 2600 years
        5. The Gentile time of influence will culminate in a treaty
            between Israel and the anti-Christ. \\#Daniel 9:24-27\\
            a. This will be a treaty that most believe will be forced
                on Israel.
                (1) One of the reasons Barak Obama and his ill-
treatment of Israel has bothered some of us so
much is because we see the relationship between
                     the US and Israel changing.
                (2) It has been one of respect and mutual
cooperation but it changing into a "bullying"
                     relationship.
                (3) This is exactly the type of dominance the Bible
indicates will bring about this seven-year
                     treaty.
                (4) It will most likely be a land for peace deal.
            b. Half-way through that treaty of seven years, the anti-
Christ will go into the temple and proclaim himself
                God.

2Thess 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means:
for that day shall not come, except there come
a falling away first, and that man of sin be
revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all
that is called God, or that is worshipped; so
that he as God sitteth in the temple of God,
shewing himself that he is God.

            c. At that time, the Jews will recognize he is not God.
                (1) They will reject him and turn to Jesus.
                (2) When the Jews do that, the anti-Christ will
desecrate the temple and start hunting down and
                     destroying the Jews.

Matt 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the
abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel
the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso
readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into
the mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come
down to take any thing out of his house:
18 Neither let him which is in the field return
back to take his clothes.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and
to them that give suck in those days!
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the
winter, neither on the sabbath day:
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such
as was not since the beginning of the world to
this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened,
there should no flesh be saved: but for the
elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

                    (3) This is called the Time of Jacob’s Troubles.

Jeremiah 30:7 Alas! for that day is great, so
that none is like it: it is even the time of
Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.
8 For it shall come to pass in that day, saith
the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke
from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds,
and strangers shall no more serve themselves
of him:
9 But they shall serve the LORD their God, and
David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.

III. A Measurement of Our Understanding
    A. We need to understand that the Jews are ready to rebuild
        their temple.
        1. Look up the THIRD Jewish temple on the internet.
        2. These Jews are ready to rebuild their temple and worship
            God in it.
    B. We need to understand that one of the Muslim’s most holy
shrine sits on the spot where the temple is to be built.
        1. Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Egypt, Syria—all of those nations and
            more are Muslim.
        2. There is a powder keg in the Middle East just waiting to
            be touched off.
    C. We need to understand that our current US President is
establishing a precedent of forcing Israel into making deals
that it does not want to make. Gentile influence over Israel
        is growing.
    D. We need to understand that God is likely to do one of three
        things:
        1. Let Israel and the Muslim countries work out some sort of
tentative peace deal, delaying the end time prophecies.
        2. Let the Muslim countries attack and expel Israel from the
land, delaying the end time prophecies.
        3. Remove the church and let the end time prophecies be
            fulfilled.

Things are lined up for John’s prophecy to be fulfilled like it has
NEVER been. 100 years ago, people would have laughed at you if you
had told them that you believe these chapters could ever be
fulfilled. Who is laughing now?

Get ready, friend. Things are happening right now.
