Revelation 19:20
The New World Order

The title of the message is the "New World Order." This world has
been working to build a new world order for some time, and some
believe they are getting very close; however, their new world order
is the old world order simply rebranded. Learn an important lesson:
Neither the devil nor this world has ever improved on anything God
has made until they first ruined it; and they never will. What they
think is progress never comes up the glory that God originally gave
it in the first place.

The other week, we looked at The Last Battles—with an "S." While we
do not and cannot know for certain whether everything fits together
as I have suggested, there is no doubt that there will be a battle
that takes place in or around the Valley of Megiddo and a battle that
will take place in and around Jerusalem. These battles will be both
epic and holocaustic, requiring the birds of the sky and the beasts
of the fields come devour the flesh that will be left behind.

Today we move beyond the last battles to what happens next. By
moving beyond the last battles, we move beyond the Tribulation. I am
not certain what is the last event of the Tribulation—maybe it is
when Jesus first appears in the sky, maybe it is when the last
soldier falls, maybe it is not until Jesus sits upon His throne. I
don’t know, but somewhere in here, the Tribulation ends and the New
World Order begins.

Regardless, let’s see what happens beyond the battles.

I. The Unholy Trinity Will Be Judged

Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him
the false prophet that wrought miracles before
him, with which he deceived them that had
received the mark of the beast, and them that
worshipped his image. These both were cast alive
into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

    A. As I have repeatedly said, I believe the Beast is the
antichrist, and the False Prophet is his helper.
        1. These will be the first two to be cast into this new and
            eternal place of torment.
            a. I think it is interesting that they are humans not
                demons.

Matthew 25:41 …Depart from me, ye cursed, into
everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his
angels:

            b. I think it is sad that the first inhabitants of that
eternal place made for the demons themselves will be
                humans and not demons.
        2. This place is not hell.
            a. Hell, in the Bible, is a temporary place of suffering
where the lost are kept until their final judgment.
            b. We will read about that judgment \\#Rev 20:11-15\\.
            c. But the place the lost are sentenced to AFTER that
judgment is Lake of Fire \\#Rev 20:15\\.
            d. That is the eternal place of damnation.
        4. God has worked hard to keep us out of both of these
            places!
        5. However, if you feel the same about God, His authority
over you, and His commands as the devil feels, you best
plan on going with him to the Lake of Fire and Brimstone
because that is the choice you are making.
        6. These two demon-possessed humans will be the first to be
cast alive into this lake and they will be tormented
            there forever.
    B. \\#Rev 20:1-3\\Satan is not judged but sentenced.

Rev 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from
heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and
a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old
serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound
him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut
him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should
deceive the nations no more, till the thousand
years should be fulfilled: and after that he must
be loosed a little season.

        1. The Lake of Fire is not Satan’s judgment—not yet.
            a. This is Satan’s arrest and imprisonment in the
                bottomless pit.
            b. That will only be a temporary imprisonment for him,
                lasting 1,000 years.
        2. We have seen this bottomless pit before.
            a. \\#Rev 9:1-3, 11:7, 17:8\\
            b. Each time we see this pit, it is treated like a
demonic prison, a place to hold wicked demons.
            c. At this time, the most wicked of all demons, Satan,
will be locked into the bottomless pit for 1,000
                years!
        3. How long will the devil be in the bottomless pit?
            a. 1,000 years.
            b. The Greeks had a word for a 1,000 years and we have
translated it into the English language.
            c. It is the word "millennium."
            d. We refer to this time period as the Millennium Reign
of Jesus Christ because Jesus rules the earth for the
same time period that Satan is locked away in that
                bottomless pit.
    C. These won’t be the only ones to be judged, but they will be
        the first.

II. God must gather His scattered people from around the globe.
    A. The scattered Jews must be brought back to the land of
        Israel.
    B. The unholy Trinity will scattered the Jews as they have never
        been scattered before.
        1. Oh, they have been scattered.
        2. Assyrians, Babylonians, Romans—and none have done as much
damage to the Jews as the Germans and its Axis of
            Nations; but the antichrist will.
        3. Oh pray for the peace of Jerusalem, God says; but it will
            not come until Jesus returns.
    C. Revelation does not mention the regathering but other Bible
       passages do.

Isa 11:11 And it shall come to pass in that
day, that the Lord shall set his hand again
the second time to recover the remnant of his
people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and
from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush,
and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath,
and from the islands of the sea.

Isa 11:16 And there shall be an highway for
the remnant of his people, which shall be left,
from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the
day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

III. The nations must be judged for how they have treated Israel.
    A. Jesus taught this in \\#Matthew 24:31-33\\; however, I
believe that may have been a symbolic statement of something
        far more physical.
    B. God mentioned this in Ezekiel although most were probably so
focused in the battle being described that we failed to note
        it.

Eze 39:6 And I will send a fire on Magog, and
among them that dwell carelessly in the isles:
and they shall know that I am the LORD.

        1. Magog was one of the nations that sent the troops against
           Israel.
        2. The verse also mentioned judgment against "the isles."
            a. Do you know what a continent is?
            b. It is just a very big island.
            c. Friend, it won’t matter how big your nation and your
                army are now.
            d. Jesus Himself is coming for you.
   C. I mean that literally.
        1. Remember:

Rev 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture
dipped in blood….

            a. Why wear a garment dipped in blood?
            b. Because you don’t have to worry about getting more
                blood on it!
    D. This is not our timid Jesus, the LAMB of God. This is our
angry God, the Lion of God.
        1. Listen to Isaiah who recorded the words of Jesus before He
            spoke them.

Isaiah 63:3  I have trodden the winepress alone;
and of the people there was none with me: for I
will tread them in mine anger, and trample them
in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled
upon my garments, and I will stain all my
raiment.

Isaiah 34:5 For my sword shall be bathed in
heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea,
and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.

        2. You might think that is just figurative, but I don’t.

Isaiah 63:1 Who is this that cometh from Edom,
with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is
glorious in his apparel, travelling in the
greatness of his strength? I that speak in
righteousness, mighty to save.

        3. I believe that horse Jesus rode back on from heaven is
going to get a lot of earth miles put on him as Jesus
leads His healed nation against those who have destroyed
them and removes some nations off the face of the earth.
IV. \\#Rev 20:4\\ Somewhere in there will be a second resurrection.

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon
them, and judgment was given unto them: and I
saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the
witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and
which had not worshipped the beast, neither his
image, neither had received his mark upon their
foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and
reigned with Christ a thousand years.

    A. "and they lived!"
        1. Who?
        2. The ones the Bible just talked about.
           a. Those who were beheaded for Jesus.
           b. Those who did not worship the beast.
           c. And those who did not receive the mark.
    B. These would be saints who were martyred DURING THE
        TRIBULATION.
        1. The church was resurrected BEFORE the Tribulation.
        2. We have spent the last seven years fellowshipping with
            Jesus in heaven.
        3. The closest we got to the beast and his mark was following
Jesus when He returned to destroy them.
        4. This is the resurrection of those who were saved and died
during a very specific time period, the Seven-Year
            Tribulation.
        5. It is a second and separate resurrection, and there is at
least one more to go \\#Rev 20:5\\.

V. \\#Rev 20:4\\ Then Jesus will begin His Millennial Reign on
     earth.
    A. Jesus will be the Ruler and, most probably, the saints that
were martyred for Jesus during the Tribulation will rule
        with Him.
        1. I know that all preachers have claim the right to sit on
one of those thrones with Jesus, but this verse does not
            mention us.
        2. It mentions those who were beheaded, did not worship the
beast, did not receive his mark, and were resurrected—
probably so that they could have the reward of ruling
over the very world that had just slain them.
    B. The Bible makes it clear: Sin will still be on the planet,
and Jesus will run a very tight ship.

Re 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of
iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be
broken to shivers: even as I received of my
Father.

        1. But it will be a time of peace.

Isa 2:4 And he shall judge among the nations,
and shall rebuke many people: and they shall
beat their swords into plowshares, and their
spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not
lift up sword against nation, neither shall
they learn war any more.

        2. God will even return the beasts of the world to their
            pre-fall state.

Is 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the
lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the
kid; and the calf and the young lion and the
fatling together; and a little child shall
lead them.
7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their
young ones shall lie down together: and the
lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 And the sucking child shall play on the
hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall
put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my
holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of
the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover
the sea.

VI. But then comes another period of sin and sadness comes.

Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are
expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which
are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and
Magog, to gather them together to battle: the
number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth,
and compassed the camp of the saints about, and
the beloved city: and fire came down from God out
of heaven, and devoured them.

    A. Satan is loosed—just for s short season—and this world goes
        after him again.
        1. As a matter of fact, some of the same people groups,
            Gog and Magog again.
        2. And they do the same thing, they come against Jerusalem.
        3. And they have the same ending, God destroys them.
    B. If you stood in amazement when a bad administration is
placed into office after a good administration has been
there, your head will wag after hearing this.
        1. After the God of heaven rule over them for 1,000—
having no war, no natural disasters, and very little
death—this world is going to follow the devil one more
            time!
        2. Friend, we really can’t blame that one on Adam and Eve.
        3. I know, they gave us the sin nature, but it appears that
most every man that stands tempted before the devil
            doesn’t do very well.
    C. But this time, God ends it.
        1. This times, Satan is cast into the Lake of Fire and
            Brimstone.

Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them
was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone,
where the beast and the false prophet are, and
shall be tormented day and night for ever and
ever.

        2. And the best we can tell, God closes the door on carnal
            flesh.

There is so much more to say, but I will not. I will simply say that
the Bible gives two choices. God’s New World Order and the Devil’s.
Right now, the world is falling for the devil’s.
